Scott Miramontes

8 years casino floor operations; 5 years sports betting writer covering parlays, promo terms, and state legalization

Scott Miramontes spent eight years on a casino floor before shifting to sports betting coverage full-time. He has personally tested parlay builders on FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM, tracked his own SGP hit rates across two NFL seasons, and covered state-by-state legalization as it unfolded. On this site he publishes free parlay picks and explains the math behind them—bluntly, without the hype.

I'm Scott Miramontes. I spent years as a casino floor supervisor — long enough to understand exactly how the house builds its edge into every bet, including parlays. I tracked my own same-game parlay hit rates across two full NFL seasons before I felt qualified to publish picks for anyone else.

This site exists because most "free picks" pages are just loss-leaders for paid subscription upsells. I'm not selling a service. Every pick on Free Parlay Picks Today — No Subscription Required is published without a paywall, and my reasoning is shown so you can agree or disagree.

What does my methodology actually look like?

I start with the math. Each added leg compounds the sportsbook's edge — that's not an opinion, it's arithmetic. I try to keep tickets to three or four legs where possible and avoid chasing inflated payouts on five-plus-leg parlays just because the number looks exciting.

I look at line movement, injury reports, and whether the legs in a same-game parlay are correlated. Sportsbooks restrict correlated SGP combinations for a reason. Understanding that is half the job. You can read more on the mechanics in the same-game parlay guide.

Where can you find the picks?

Daily selections are organized by sport on the today's free parlay picks by sport page. I also publish sport-specific tickets — free NFL parlay picks, free NBA parlay picks, and free MLB parlay picks — during their respective seasons.
